Small-group classes and focused clinics for juniors and adults. Same instruction you'd get in a private lesson, in a setting that's social, competitive, and easier on the budget — one subject at a time, until it holds up on the course.

Two programs run on a fixed schedule you can sign up for right now — a weekly Junior Class every Tuesday, and a beginner clinic that meets two Saturdays a month. Everything else on this page is built around the group that books it.

Junior Class — Tuesdays, 5:00 to 6:30 PM

Ninety minutes on the range and short game area, grouped by age and ability so every junior is working at the right level. The first class is Tuesday, October 6, and juniors can join any week after that.

Same instruction as a private lesson, in a group that keeps juniors motivated and a price that makes weekly coaching realistic.

Beginner Clinic — Two Saturdays a Month

Brand new to golf, or coming back to it after years away? The Play Golf Now beginner clinic meets two Saturdays a month and is built for people who would rather not learn in front of a crowd. It's $150 total for both sessions, and registration is handled on the clinic's own page.

Three Ways to
Learn in a Group

Group sizes stay small on purpose — everyone gets eyes on their swing and leaves with something specific to work on. Classes run at the Championsgate practice facility, Tuesday through Saturday.

01

Junior Clinics

Grouped by age and ability so nobody is bored and nobody is lost. Juniors work through fundamentals — grip, setup, balance, and contact — with games and challenges that keep the session moving. The weekly Junior Class runs every Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:30 PM for ages 8–14, and one-off clinics are a great entry point before committing to the Junior Player Program.

Adult Group Classes

One topic per session — bunkers one week, wedge distance control the next. You get the demonstration, the drill, and enough repetitions under supervision that the change actually sticks. Experienced players use them to sharpen a single weak spot, and if you're starting from scratch the beginner clinic that runs two Saturdays a month is the better first step.

Private Groups & Events

Bring your own group and I'll build the session around it — couples and families, a foursome getting ready for a trip, a ladies' group, or a corporate outing that needs a warm-up hour before play. You pick the date, the focus, and who's in it.

Clinic Topics — One Subject at a Time

Every clinic covers a single area of the game in depth rather than skimming everything. Come to the ones your game needs, or work through the full rotation over a season.

What Every Class Includes

Group format, private-lesson standards. You're taught by the same PGA of America certified instructor who runs every lesson at the academy — not an assistant.

Group Size, Length & Pricing

Two programs have set pricing: the weekly Junior Class is $150 a month for access to all classes or $75 for an individual class, and the beginner clinic is $150 total for both Saturday sessions. Everything else is priced per person and depends on how long the session runs and how many players are in it — smaller groups cost more per head, larger ones less. Tell me the group you have in mind and I'll quote it and get it on the calendar.

Looking for Something Longer?

If a single clinic isn't enough, golf schools run one to three days in half-day or full-day formats and can be booked as a small group — an immersive way to cover the whole game at once. Prefer to work alone? Private lessons and monthly programs are the fastest route to sustained change.

Common Questions

When does the Junior Class meet, and what does it cost?+
The Junior Class runs every Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Championsgate practice facility, starting Tuesday, October 6. It's $150 a month, which includes access to all classes, or $75 for an individual class if you'd rather pay as you go. It's open to ages 8–14, grouped by age and ability, and you can start any week — not just the first one.
I've never played before. Is a clinic the right place to start?+
Yes — it's one of the best places to start. The Play Golf Now beginner clinic is built exactly for this: it assumes no experience at all, covers how to hold and swing the club, and puts you around other people learning the same things. It runs two Saturdays a month for $150 total, and you can read the details and sign up on the clinic page →. If you don't own clubs yet, say so when you register.
How does the beginner clinic work, and how do I sign up?+
It meets two Saturdays a month, and the two sessions are designed to be taken together — $150 covers both. It's aimed at complete newcomers and at golfers coming back after years away, in a small group rather than a crowd. Registration and the current dates are handled on the Play Golf Now clinic page →.
How many people are in a class?+
Group sizes are kept small deliberately — typically a handful of players, so there's time to watch every swing and give individual corrections. Larger groups can be arranged for private events, and I'll adjust the format so it still works.
What does a class cost?+
The weekly Junior Class is $150 a month for access to all classes, or $75 for a single class. The beginner clinic is $150 total, covering both of its Saturday sessions. For everything else, pricing is per person and depends on the length of the session and the size of the group — because most of those classes are built around the group that's booking them, I quote each one directly. Contact me with what you have in mind and I'll send terms and available dates.
Can I book a class for my own group?+
Absolutely. Families, couples, friends preparing for a golf trip, ladies' groups, and corporate outings are all welcome. You choose the date and the focus, and I'll build the session around the group's ability level.
How is a clinic different from a private lesson?+
A clinic covers one topic for a group at a lower cost per person and is a great way to build fundamentals or fix a specific area. A private lesson is entirely about your swing, with full access to Flightscope launch monitor data and Sportsbox AI 3D motion capture. Many students use both — clinics for skill building, privates for their own swing.
Do members get access to classes?+
Members are welcome in clinics, and the work fits into the improvement roadmap we've already built together. If you're on a monthly program, mention it when you inquire and we'll slot the right clinics into your plan.
Where do classes take place?+
At the Brunson Golf Academy practice facility, 8575 White Shark Blvd in Championsgate, FL — the same place private lessons are held, with range, short game, and putting areas available during the session.
